Miss Fisher's costumes @Parramatta

The ABC TV series Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries is now here in Sydney (Parramatta) from 1 March to 1 June.
This exhibit was previously on show at Rippon Lea Estate in Melbourne that I didn't get a chance to see when I was in Melbourne last November.

The exhibition showcases more than 40 outfits worn by Phryne Fisher (Essie Davis) and her cohorts – including Detective Inspector Jack Robinson (Nathan Page) and Aunt Prudence (Miriam Margolyes) - in Series 1 and 2 and the recently screened Christmas Special.

Just go.

Read more about the exhibit here.

The National Trust is just wonderful to hold this exhibit.

Oooh. I just finished watching season 1 on Netflix. I watched it mainly for the clothes. Hmm, can I come over to Sydney?

Can't wait to go myself. Might round up some of the Sydney sewical to go along.

Lucky you! I'm just finishing up a season on Netflix--the clothes are better than the plot even!

Would love to go and was wondering if someone was organising a group to attend, count me in as I love Miss Fisher and crew!

You're always welcome to Sydney!

I think that's a good idea Gail. I'm sure lots of the sewcialist will want to go.

I think I'll have to watch the series. I do love 'inspecting' clothing structures. It's a habit.

I never realised that.

Give Gail a bell.

Phryne's clothes are gorgeous. I wonder if the show will get to Perth?
